About Studio
REDTAPE STUDIO is a French duo of film composer, producer, sound engineer, musician and singer.
Passionate about music since childhood, Gael Hoffmann and Guillaume Manuelli have performed in various bands as a guitarist, bassist, drummer and singer.
They compose ambient, pop and orchestral music and are characterized by their “four handed” way of working, merging the emotion and melodic sensitivity of the piano with electronic ambiance.
They have worked on various projects, from short and medium length films to festival credits, theater and different genres of music videos.
Inspired by the same artists (Air, Vangelis, Thomas Newman, Ólafur Arnalds, Sage and more) and a similar approach to music, the duo has quickly found its rhythm, winning the Grand Jury Prize of the 11th edition of Nikon Film Festival in 2021.
